Sydney is a Marriage and Family Therapist trainee at Journeys Counseling and is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Vanguard University. She graduated from California State University, Fullerton with a Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2022.
Sydney’s years of experience working as a Behavioral Technician at a substance abuse recovery center, paired with her current position facilitating therapeutic groups at a mental health treatment center, equip her not only with an extensive knowledge of trauma and addiction but also with real-world skills that extend beyond a classroom setting.
These professional roles, her education, and her own life experience place Sydney in a unique position to hear, empathize, and support a variety of individuals navigating life’s many challenges. She is dedicated to providing a safe space for her clients while continually improving upon her own therapeutic approach. Sydney believes that with a foundation of trust, the application of evidence-based techniques, and a mutual curiosity for healing, immense growth can be cultivated.
