Stacy is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and Associate Professional Clinical Counselor at Journeys Counseling Ministry. Recently, Stacy graduated from Vanguard University with a Masters's degree in Clinical Psychology and previously worked as a Pre-licensed Therapist at Saddleback Counseling Ministry. Moreover, Stacy has an occupational background in Resident Life, working with international teenagers and young adults from China, Africa, Taiwan, and Japan. Stacy has also worked with neurodivergent individuals through social education and mindfulness techniques. Stacy is knowledgeable in depression, anxiety, co-dependency, and grief support.
Stacy understands that stressors of life can influence the overall mental impact of a person's functioning. Stacy recognizes, that many times, our responses are related to adverse early childhood experiences, which likely need to be explored. Therefore, Stacy aims to support individuals through a safe, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment.
Stacy is open-minded and embraces all cultures, identities, and experiences. Stacy finds it a privilege to support others on their emotional journey.
In Stacy's free time, Stacy enjoys hiking, exploring nature, and spending time with family and friends.
