Rocio is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who recently completed her MS in Clinical Psychology at Vanguard University. She believes therapy is a journey of self-discovery and healing in which therapist and client are on the ride together. She strives to create an inviting and open space where folks can feel cared for and secure enough to begin working on what they’d like to change. She believes in all our strengths and aims to use these in therapy to reach for healing and growth. Rocio hopes to help individuals, couples, and families by equipping them with the tools necessary to heal themselves and navigate their unique path toward a more enriching life.
As a therapist, Rocio works from a client-centered framework based on attachment theory and internal systems therapy. Rocio works to collaborate with her clients in finding the right treatment plan and the pace of work that fits their needs best. Rocio uses a variety of evidence-based interventions and theories. She has experience working with clients who live with anxiety, complex trauma, depression, and other relational issues. She is a compassion-driven therapist who is passionate about meeting clients where they are and walking alongside them in their journey.
