Miriam is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at Journeys Counseling Ministry and Vanguard University Counseling Center. Miriam is completing her Master’s Degree from Biola University and earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Social Behavior at the University of California, Irvine.
Prior to her graduate experience, Miriam worked for the UC Irvine Counseling Center where she hosted workshops on mental health, depression and anxiety, and conducted research on Schizophrenia.
Miriam works with individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, sexual disorders, spiritual issues, eating disorders, and relational dynamics.
She is passionate about the integration of psychology and spirituality in her clinical work. Miriam believes that every individual has intrinsic dignity and incredible worth and she yearns to create a space where people can grow towards experiencing that reality within themselves.
