Megen is a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist and has been at Journeys since 2010. She completed her M.S. in Clinical Psychology at Vanguard University in May 2012. Megen also has an M.A. in Spiritual Formation and Soul Care from the Institute for Spiritual Formation at Biola University and Talbot Theological Seminary. As such, in addition to being an LMFT she has been a practicing spiritual director since 2007 working with individuals and groups.
Prior to her graduate studies, Megen spent over ten years in church ministry, specifically working with youth and children. Megen has also spoken professionally in various settings including university, marriage, and business conferences (Biola Torrey Conference, Long Beach All-City Marriage Conference, Alt Summit).
Megen loves helping people uncover how their unique experiences have shaped them, leading people into a deeper understanding about how those experiences have influenced their own mental health and relationships. Megen is also passionate about spiritual and psychological integration and desires to help people deepen their knowledge of self and their knowledge of God in the context of relationships.
Megen and her husband are the parents of two daughters.
