Kristin Colton is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee completing her Master's in Counseling Psychology at National University. With over 26 years of experience as a Certified Addiction Counselor working with individuals with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health challenges, she is passionate about helping individuals work through issues such as trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, and addiction.

Kristin integrates skills from Attachment Theory, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-Based Practices, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Positive Psychology, with a deep interest in Existential and Solution-Focused Theories. She also incorporates Yoga and Breathwork into her therapeutic approach, and as an Ordained Minister, draws on her Christian faith to support her clients' healing journeys.
