Kiersten is a Marriage and Family Therapist Trainee at Journeys Counseling Ministry. She is currently completing master’s level coursework at Hope International University and received her bachelor's degree in Psychology from Biola University. She is certified as a Prepare Enrich Premarital and Marital facilitator and is currently working towards her EMDR basic training certificate.
Kiersten understands that life can be challenging at times and wants to walk alongside her clients as they navigate their unique journey. Through her experience in working with various non-profits to provide mental health services, Kiersten is passionate about offering care to diverse populations. She values the whole individual, considering their background and experiences and how those experiences may influence certain behaviors and perspectives. She believes that relationships are vital for one's overall well-being and desires to help improve these bonds. Kiersten takes a client-centered approach and hopes to provide a safe environment for those who choose to partner with her to achieve their goals.
