With a Christian worldview, I can help you reframe your story to challenge lies that you tell yourself. Lies such as “I’m a failure”, “I can’t handle the stress”, “I’m a bad parent”, or “It’s never going to get better.” With compassion, and evidence-based therapy, I can help you eliminate shame and rediscover your identity as a child of God.
Over the past 14 years, I completed my degree in Clinical Psychology and earned over 5000 clinical hours treating symptoms related to anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and relationship distress. I love working with people who want to grow in their ability to regulate emotions and use their emotions, thoughts and behaviors to change the direction of their lives. Prior to Journeys, I worked with the Walt Disney Company and Baxter Healthcare International building corporate partnerships. I also enjoyed a special season as a stay-at-home mom. I’ve been happily married for 28 years, have two grown sons and feel called to use my education, personal and professional experience to help you thrive.
In addition to the types of therapy listed above, June offers Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Client Centered Therapy. She provides client services via remote (telehealth) therapy as well as in-person therapy and is licensed in California and Colorado.
