Jody is a graduate student who is working to complete her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the Townsend Institute at Concordia University Irvine. She is currently a trainee at Journeys.
Jody is passionate about helping each of her clients feel seen, heard, and known. She offers a valuable, safe, non-judgmental space for her clients to explore and process various life experiences and emotions. Jody's combined emphasis on encouraging personal growth and providing genuine empathy leads to lasting, meaningful change. Her strong Christian faith guides her in offering comfort to her clients as they move toward a place of hope. Believing strongly in her clients' abilities to create more fulfilling lives, Jody walks gently alongside her clients on their journeys as they gain the skills necessary to become the best versions of themselves. She is dedicated to ensuring that her clients do not feel alone as they work toward building healthier futures. From experiencing many of life's challenges, Jody has a deep understanding of what is needed for true and lasting healing. She highly values developing genuine, profound relationships with each of her clients.
Jody's passions also include serving at her church, drawing, being outdoors, building deep connections, and pursuing personal growth.
