Guillermo is a Journeys Counseling Ministry trainee pursuing his Master of Arts in Professional Counseling at Dallas Baptist University. He has worked with people struggling with substance use addictions and also those focusing on various issues to aid their mental health. In past employment opportunities, Guillermo has worked with students transitioning from high school to college who struggle with relationship issues, new life transitions, and self-esteem issues. Guillermo is passionate about working with individuals who seek therapy to understand themselves or are interested in working through adversities.

Guillermo counsels individuals by connecting the unconscious decisions they make with present life situations. He also works with techniques related to positive psychology, existentialism, and person-centered therapy. Guillermo philosophy is a faith-based approach, understanding how spirituality and psychology can be influential both together and separately in therapy.
