Cheri is a licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Trainee. She is passionate about creating an empathic, warm, and safe environment where clients feel deeply known and cared for. Cheri uses time-tested techniques unique to each client to help them gain insights, healing, freedom, and new ways to cope with life's challenges while integrating faith.

Cheri believes that the world is both beautiful and broken. As a result, various painful experiences can devastate a person's life. But there is always hope. She utilizes a holistic approach where relationships, past experiences, thoughts, emotions, somatic health, and spirituality are considered. Cheri’s heart is to collaborate with her clients while walking through their stories together to discover new solutions and perspectives that empower them to live a full and meaningful life. She enjoys helping clients identify their strengths, values, and goals.

Cheri has over 20 years of experience working in campus ministry, mentoring students aged eighteen to thirty from various cultures. She has also worked as an Elementary School teacher and a volunteer youth leader for High School students. She has lived and traveled abroad and loves people from many different ages and backgrounds.
