Olivia is a Professional Clinical Counselor Trainee at Journeys Counseling Ministry. Olivia grew up in Southern California and was blessed to have had a very successful career as an actress which began in childhood and continued well into adulthood where she had the opportunity to work with some of the best actors, directors, and producers in television and film. After overcoming some significant hardships and challenges in her life, she became inspired in her early 40’s to go back to school and pursue a career in counseling in order to help others achieve a sense of healing and hope in the midst of darkness and despair, having been there herself. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Liberty University with a Bachelor of Science in criminal psychology and a minor in Biblical studies. Olivia also has experience interning at an alcohol and drug rehabilitation center that focused on co-occurring disorders and has graduated from Sober College with a certificate in addiction studies. Olivia has an overwhelming love and deep compassion for people and considers it an honor and a privilege to sit alongside her clients, meeting them where they are, and giving them a safe space where they feel seen, heard, and understood. She realizes that God has been preparing her for this role her entire life and hopes to help others find hope, healing, and ultimately discover meaning and purpose behind the pain they have gone through. Olivia has been happily married for nearly 11 years, and their fat cat “Hunter” is their pride and joy.
