Mary Anne Swart
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Title
Associate Marriage and Family Therapist
Degree
Masters Degree in MFT
About
Mary Anne is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and a graduate of Biola University. She has previous clinical experience working as a therapist at a high school and has a special interest in working with children, teenagers, and young adults.
She understands that therapy can be a difficult journey, and that looking honestly at our own pain takes a lot of courage. She hopes to walk alongside you in those moments, not rushing you past your pain, but helping you make sense of it and move through it. It is important that you have space to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, without having to perform, have everything figured out, or be someone you are not. She will meet you with compassion and remind you of what is true: you make sense, and you are worthy of being known.
Her hope is that you can come to understand yourself with greater compassion and, as you do, discover the freedom to make new choices.
In her free time, Mary Anne loves playing board games, climbing trees, and spending time outdoors.
