About

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here. My name is Laila, and I’m honored to be a part of your journey toward healing and personal growth. Taking the first step toward therapy can feel intimidating, and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to show up for yourself and begin this process.

My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free space where you feel comfortable sharing your story and exploring the experiences that have shaped you. My approach is calm, compassionate, and collaborative. As we get to know one another, I hope to help you recognize patterns, explore new perspectives, and gently challenge you in ways that encourage growth and self-discovery.

As a Christian, my faith is the foundation of who I am and the values I bring into my work. For clients who desire a faith-based approach, I welcome the opportunity to incorporate biblical principles, prayer, and the teachings of Jesus Christ into our sessions. For those who prefer not to explore spirituality, I am equally happy to provide a warm, supportive therapeutic environment grounded in a traditional clinical approach.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Pittsburgh and am currently pursuing my Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology, with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine. My background includes corporate and nonprofit administration, drug and alcohol case management, and entrepreneurship. I also completed a volunteer internship with Allegheny County Juvenile Justice in the Pittsburgh Juvenile Probation Department. Outside of my academic and professional pursuits, I’ve enjoyed serving in my church’s youth ministry and leading adult Bible studies.

Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our fur babies, traveling, trying new foods, and enjoying nature. I have a special appreciation for finding beauty in the little things and cherishing meaningful moments.
