About

Jen is a graduate student currently pursuing her Master of Arts in Counseling at Life Pacific University. She brings a background in education and experience working with children and families, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Studies and a Bachelor of Education in Primary and Junior Education from Brock University in Canada. Through her experiences in education, ministry, and caring for others, Jen has developed a heart for creating spaces where people feel safe, heard, and valued.

Jen believes that each person’s story is unique and that meaningful change can happen when we have a safe place to be honest about what we are experiencing. She is especially drawn to walking alongside people navigating anxiety, life transitions, and the challenges that can leave them feeling overwhelmed or stuck. This reflects what draws her to Journeys: the opportunity to come alongside people as they navigate their own unique journeys toward healing and growth. Her hope is to offer a gentle, compassionate presence in this process.

As a Christian, Jen believes that faith can be an important part of the counseling journey for those who desire it. She is committed to meeting each client where they are and creating a space where they can explore their experiences, values, and beliefs with openness and respect.

Outside of her professional and academic work, Jen is a wife and mom to two teenage daughters.
