Signe is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She earned her Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy at Pepperdine University and received her Bachelor of Arts at the University of Southern California. Before coming to Journeys, Signe received clinical experience working with young adults at Vanguard University as well as experience at Rock Harbor Church working with adult women. From 2009 to 2015, Signe worked at College Hospital Costa Mesa with more acute adults and children. She has experience working on the Crisis team with College Hospital, assessing individuals in emergency rooms throughout the county for whether or not they meet criteria to be put on a 5150. She has specific training through Center for Deployment Psychology and Star Behavioral Health Provider in working with military culture and clients who have experienced trauma. Signe also enjoys working with adolescents doing play therapy, young adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, marital and pre-marital counseling, grief, loss, eating disorders, divorce, parenting and phase of life issues. It is Signe's passion, to use her talents, life experience and training to help her clients find hope and healing from their unique struggles. She is a local to Orange County, attending Newport Harbor High School and now residing in south Orange county. She has two young daughters, 2 and 4 years old.
